Last fall, Taylor’s Tale hosted several exciting fundraising events, including the first two installments in the Wine Around the World for Taylor series and a charity night at Fat Daddy’s Bar & Grill in Raleigh. Wine Around the World for Taylor The Wine Around the World for Taylor series kicked off with Spain on Thursday, September 10, 2009. The evening featured indigenous wines and cheeses of the region and was hosted at the home of Stacy and John Jesso in Charlotte. The Italian event, second in a series of four wine tastings in exclusive settings, was held at Terra Restaurant in Charlotte. Guests joined vintner Federico Orsi for an intimate wine tasting session featuring wines from Orsi's winery. Following the tasting, restaurateur Thierry Garconnet and his staff served a multi-course dinner paired with Orsi's white wines and Dedicato de Patrius succulent Italian blends. Charity Night at Fat Daddy’s Bar & Grill Fat Daddy's Bar & Grill, a local favorite in the Crabtree Valley area of Raleigh, hosted a charity night for Taylor's Tale on Tuesday, November 17 from 5-11 p.m. The restaurant donated 10 percent of the proceeds from each purchase made by guests who mentioned Taylor's Tale when placing their order.
